Bacon Lovers Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 brioche buns
  • 12 pc. PERDUE NAE TURKEY BACON RTC - 51102
  • 4 pc. PERDUE HL NAE, FC, GM, IF, BONELESS FILET - 56451
  • 4 slice provolone cheese
  • 4 tbsp. pesto — premade
  • 1/2 c. red onion — sliced
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 c. arugula

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Add turkey bacon to a sheet tray and roast in the oven until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Toss red onion with olive oil. Transfer onions to a sheet tray and place in a 400-degree oven until charred.
  3. Cook thawed precooked chicken on an oiled griddle until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
  4. To assemble, evenly distribute pesto on both sides of the buns, add cooked chicken breast, slice of provolone cheese, 3 pieces of cooked turkey bacon, roasted red onions, arugula and enjoy.
  5. Serve with waffle fries.
