Honey Ginger Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 2 Chef Redi* Chicken Breast Filets
  • 1 c. Napa Cabbage
  • 1 tbsp. Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 c. Onions — diced
  • 1 tbsp. Rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. Soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. Red and green pepper — chopped
  • 2 whole Kaiser rolls
  • 1/4 c. Green onions
  • 3 cloves Garlic — minced
  • 2 tbsp. Minced fresh ginger root
  • 3/4 c. Olive oil
  • 1/3 c. Rice vinegar
  • 1/2 c. Soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp. Honey
  • 1/4 c. water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine garlic, ginger root, olive oil, 1/3 c. rice vinegar, 1/2 c. soy sauce, honey and water.
  2. Use this to marinate chicken breasts for 1/2 hour, then grill over medium heat, basting with glaze.
  3. Marinate Napa cabbage with sesame oil, onions, green and red peppers, 1 T. rice vinegar, 1/2 tsp. soy sauce, and green onions in a bowl.
  4. Spread Napa mixture on bottom half of Kaiser Roll. Place grilled chicken breast on top of mixture. Serve with Wasabi sauce on the side.
