Seesaw Sausage Skewers

  • 24 Perdue Turkey Sausage Links
  • 20 ounce cans Pineapple chunks
  • 8 Maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 c. Pure maple syrup
  • 1 c. Apple juice
  • 8-inch bamboo skewers
  • Assorted fresh fruit
  • Shredded potato shapes


  1. Prepare PERDUE turkey sausage according to directions.
  2. Slice each link in ½ on a diagonal.
  3. For each skewer, thread 3 – ½ links, alternating with pineapple chunks and ending with a ½ link.
  4. For glaze, place maple syrup and apple juice in a small saucepan and boil until reduced to thin syrup. Place skewers on baking pan, drizzle with glaze and put under broiler just until glaze starts to sizzle.
  5. Remove and place a cherry on top of each skewer.
  6. Serve with a side of mixed fresh fruit and shredded ovened potatoes.
