
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Olive oil
- 2 tbsp. Soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. Sesame oil
- 4 cloves Garlic — minced
- 1 tbsp. Fresh Rosemary — chopped
- 2 tbsp. Ginger — grated
- 2 tbsp. Chives — minced
- 2 tsp. Lemon Zest — grated
- 8 Turkey Filets (5 oz)
- 1 c. Sesame seeds — Toasted
- 1/2 c. Honey
- 1 c. Orange juice
- 1/4 Each c. Olive oil, White wine vinegar, and Orange zest
- Salt and white pepper to taste
Instructions
Marinade
- Blend together marinade ingredients. Marinate turkey filets for 1-2 hours.
Sauce
- Mix all ingredients together to prepare sauce and set aside.
Sesame Crusted Turkey Filets
- Place toasted sesame seeds in a shallow dish. Discard marinade and dip each turkey filet in sesame seeds to coat both sides. Lightly grease a saute pan. Over medium heat, saute turkey filets until crust forms, approximately 5 minutes each side. Pour sauce over filets, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes or until done (internal temp. of 165 degrees F.). Serve over brown rice cooked in chicken broth.
