Tequila Chili-Lime Glaze


  • 1/4 c. Tequila
  • 1/2 c. Corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. Honey
  • 1/4 c. Lime juice — fresh
  • 2 cloves Garlic — minced
  • 1/4 tsp. Chipotle chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp. Pasilla chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. Fresh Oregano — chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp. Fresh Cilantro — chopped fine
  • 1 green onion — minced


  1. In a heavy-duty saucepan, combine all glaze ingredients except for the oregano and cilantro. Over medium heat, bring to a simmer until liquid reduces by half.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in oregano and cilantro and cool.
  3. Glazed Pan-Roasted Baking Instructions Place a Perdue® Pan-Roasted Turkey Breast on wire rack in a roasting pan in a preheated 400°F oven.
  4. After turkey breast has roasted for 10 min., baste and coat with the glaze, using a basting brush, and return to oven.
  5. Continue to roast for 25 min. Remove the turkey from the oven. Baste and coat the turkey breast with the glaze drippings from the bottom of the roasting pan.
  6. Carve and serve hot. Or, place in refrigerator, allowing the turkey to cool to 40°F before slicing and serving for sandwiches and salads.
