Hot Honey Chicken Bao Taco

A cooling broccoli slaw complements spicy chicken in these Asian-inspired tacos.


Ingredients

  • 4 bao buns
  • 12 pc. Par Fry Spicy Chunks - 7101
  • 1/3 c. spicy honey
  • basil to taste — chopped
Broccoli Coleslaw
  • 1/2 c. broccoli florets — small chop
  • 1/2 c. carrots — julienned
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. honey
  • pinch salt
  • pinch pepper

Instructions

  1. Steam bao buns in a basket for 6 minutes or until soft throughout.
  2. Fry boneless chicken wings until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Toss in spicy honey.
  3. In a bowl combine, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, pepper and mix. Then add broccoli, carrots and mix.
  4. To the bao buns, evenly distribute broccoli slaw, 3 boneless chicken wings, basil and enjoy.
